About Schemdeck
Schemdeck is a digital platform that organizes technical DIY projects into structured Blueprints. The aim is simple: help people build technology and actually understand it, rather than copying steps from scattered tutorials, forum threads, and videos.
What Schemdeck is
A Blueprint is a structured guide to a single technical project. It is designed to help you understand:
- what you are building and why the approach works
- the parts, tools, software, and prerequisite knowledge required
- how to implement it step by step
- how to test and verify that it works
- how to troubleshoot predictable failure modes
Schemdeck is digital reference content that you work through yourself. It is not a physical kit, and it is not a remote IT or setup service.
What Schemdeck covers
The current focus is on:
- networking
- electronics
- self-hosting
- privacy
- homelab
- programming
- defensive cybersecurity
- DIY technology more broadly
This list reflects where Schemdeck is starting and is expected to grow over time.
Current availability
- Schemdeck is in public development and preview.
- Current public access is free.
- Paid access is not currently enabled, and no pricing is set.
- The Blueprint catalog currently contains prototype and demo metadata while real content is being developed.
The site is functioning and open to everyone. The service is simply early.
Content and verification
Schemdeck distinguishes researched information from builds that have been physically verified, and it does not claim that AI-assisted material was physically tested when it was not. Each Blueprint carries a validation label describing the level of testing it represents. The Terms of Use explain how to interpret that.
