Terms of Use
Last updated: September 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Schemdeck website and its content. By using the site, you agree to them. They are written to be readable rather than exhaustive, and they describe Schemdeck as it exists today.
Service description
Schemdeck provides digital educational and informational content and technical project guidance, organized as structured Blueprints and guided learning paths. It is reference material, not a physical product and not a hands-on installation service.
Current access
The current public preview is free to use. Paid features may be introduced later. This document does not define any paid plan or price. If paid services are introduced, the applicable pricing and payment terms will be clearly disclosed before any purchase.
Technical-content disclaimer
Technical projects depend on variables that Schemdeck cannot control, including hardware revisions, firmware and software versions, network configuration, third-party compatibility, and your working environment. Schemdeck aims for accuracy but does not guarantee that a project will work identically in every environment.
Each Blueprint carries a validation label. Rely on it for the level of testing that is actually represented: researched information is not the same as a build that has been physically verified, and AI-assisted material is not treated as physically tested unless a person tested it.
Lawful and authorized use
You must use Schemdeck content lawfully, and only on systems, devices, and networks that you own or are explicitly authorized to work with.
Schemdeck content is not permission or encouragement to:
- access systems, accounts, or networks without authorization
- interfere with or disrupt networks or services
- violate applicable laws or third-party rights
- misuse security information to cause harm
Security-related content on Schemdeck is educational and defensive in nature.
Safety and your responsibility
You are responsible for understanding the relevant hardware, electrical, software, networking, and legal risks before performing a project, and for deciding whether a project is appropriate for your situation and skill level.
Third-party products and services
Blueprints may reference third-party hardware, software, repositories, documentation, and services. Those third parties are independent of Schemdeck and may change or withdraw their products, terms, and pricing at any time. Schemdeck does not control them and is not responsible for them.
Intellectual property
The original content, branding, and materials that Schemdeck publishes on this site remain the intellectual property of Schemdeck unless stated otherwise. Third-party names, code, and materials referenced in Blueprints remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own licenses and terms.
Availability and changes
Schemdeck may update, modify, or remove site content and features over time, including as the product develops. These terms may also be updated; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
Disclaimer and liability
The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Schemdeck is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
